Default Anyone able to get me a pic of assembled front coilover assembly?

So, long story short, I did some modifications to my upper shock mount. I'm interested in seeing, in an unmodified setup, how far the shock threads/nut stick out past the mating surface of the mount.

Basically, the vehicle body has a clearanced area for the threaded end of the shock piston to move back and forth as the suspension travels. I am curious to know how much of the shock piston is "hanging out" past the mount (how much of it is hanging out into the body "pocket"). I'm getting a "clunk" in the front end on significant bumps, and I am wondering if I didn't trim enough of the piston off and the shock piston is contacting the body "pocket".

Thanks!!

I still have my old assemblies sitting around the living room so I'll try to remember to snap a pic.
