Been a while since I've posted any progress pictures on my car but since I had a little incident with the stock torque arm I figure why not post now. I installed cam last summer and the car made 400rwhp/373rwtq with cam, headers, true duals, lid, and UD pulley. Ive been doing suspension here and there too. I started off with UMI 3point sfc's and a spohn tunnel brace. I added Strano springs along with SLP bilstein strut/shocks and that made me happy until last month......
On a cruise a 350Z had a hot head so I ran him, put it in second gear at 35mph and ran him. Killed the Z but at the top of 2nd I heard a loud bang with a ton of clunking under the body. When I pulled off I couldn't find anything. Car wasnt leaking, It drove, but the banging against the floor would come in and out. I took the chance to try to make it home and the big bang happened. Apparently my torque arm ripped at the rear and cocked itself right in the way of my driveshaft. After rubbing a couple too many times the driveshaft gave.






SOL and stranded on the highway I searched local craigslist and found a UMI tunnel mounted torque arm from a guy who never used it and sold the car. 300 bucks! scored I also picked up a driveshaft for 25 bucks both within 20 minutes.

Then I found some torq thrusts on craigslist brand spankin new in boxes for an LT1 trans am 17x9.5/11" for 700 bucks.
Ended up with this. Ive always loved the Mr luos trans am but I unintentionally ended up with a car pretty dang close to the looks of it.
