Default guys with rear afcos

I installed my rear afco double adjustables about a month ago and was wondering if everybody else juss cuts a slit in the carpet to get to the top adjuster? I had the carpet pulled back when I installed it, juss wanted to see what everyone else was doing?

If you look carefully with good lighting you should see perforations in the carpet in a U shape. Cut along the perforations an then you'll have a flap, lift it up and cut out the padding directly under it then pull it out. That how I did mine with my Koni adjustable shocks.
