Tried installing these mounts every which way possible and the motor doesn't fit right. The driver side head is resting against the firewall. To the point where you couldn't bolt on the ground to the back of the head.

We tried flipping them top to bottom (they are marked) and that didn't change anything. So anyone have issues with this before and if so what did you do?

Any suggestions or input would be appreciated!

Good morning.

The engine mounts are intended to be installed with the short side down, i.e. the through bolt is crowded toward the oil pan. There is a distinct offset which you should be able to see.

Our dimensions for the 2323 solid mounts are taken from the GM blueprint for the rubber clamshell engine mount and should be exact.

The motor mounts are solid and allow no give. So if the k-member motor mounts are not perfect it could cause in issue.

If you install one bolt what does the other side look like?
