Strange SA rear Coil overs?

Strange SA rear Coil overs? I would like to buy Strange SA rear coil overs, but I heard it takes some modification by welding something or another. Does anyone know? I called jegs and summit and got two different answers 
. If the rears do need modifying I'm going to get QA1 SA coil overs in the rear if they just bolt in, but I rather have the Strange. I know for sure I will buy the Strange SA coil overs for the fronts. Thanks for the info. I did a search and couldn't come up with anything.

All brands of coil overs will require mods and welding in the rear of the 93-02 Fbody. This is because the shock mount on the car is designed for a non coil over shock. When a spring which supports the weight of Your car is put on the shock it adds lots of stress to the shock mounts requiring additional bracing.
Switching to coil overs will require mods to both the car and the rear end housing.
I'm not saying this up-grade has never been done without the needed mods but it is not recommended.
