Default Spohn/UMI Joints

Looking to buy "Roto" joint LCA's. Found Spohn has "Del Sphere Pivot Joints". Looks like the same product but different name. Am I right or wrong on this?

Yeah they're very similar. I like the UMI because it made with fewer parts, the Spohn center section is 4 pieces, UMI 1 piece.

Our Roto-Joint is 100% built in house by us. As mentioned, the design is very simple (i.e. reliable) and robust. I'm happy to answer any specifics. We are proud of the Roto-ball inside the Roto-joint. It is one piece, turned super smooth and hard plated for durability.

Thanks for considering us!

I think most of our competitors are built overseas as well. I can't guarantee that but I don't see them bragging about it being USA.

We build every since piece in house in PA. Also as 99Bluz28 mentioned on center section is one piece, not four pieces.

If we can help anymore please ask. Thanks!

I'm all for MADE IN USA. That is, I'm not a big fan of Chinese engineering. Is the 1 piece any better than the 4 piece and visa versa? I don't mean to split atoms here but I'm curious.

I would think the 1 piece center section would be stronger and less prone to damage over time.

Our machine shop takes great pride in the craftsmanship and surface finish of the Roto-ball. We have 8 or 9 different sizes for various locations on the car.

Since each piece is custom made and the coating (also coated in another Made In USA shop in PA until we learn to coat stuff) is harder than the Dupont Delrin, the Roto-***** tend to be bulletproof.

We also feel the one piece design would offer less noise. Here is a picture of our internal one piece "ball".
