Default New Prothane trans mount now Pinon angle off?

Hi guys. Im pretty new to the Fbody scene. Picked up a 02 ws6 that needed a little bit of work. The Trans mount and Torque arm bushings were shot out. A couple weeks ago I replaced the Trans mount with a Prothane mount. Did it first because it was in the worse shape. Tried to order both parts at the same time but summit wanted to charge double shipping because both parts were coming from diff places. But anyways since the trans mount has went in. I have been getting really bad vibration. Was wondering if this is from the pinion angle changing or if its because the Torque arm bushing is also bad? I know there should be some vibration over OEM mounts. But its pretty significant. Was thinking it was the drive shaft. New Torque arm bushing is going in as I type this on a break. Having an issue getting the two brackets go together. Outter piece doesnt want to slide into the inner piece.

THX for any input.

so torque arm bushing is a pain in the *** to get in. cant seem to get the top bolt to go through. seems everything i read about working on these cars is a pain in the butt. nothing seems to just be to simple.

When i did the polyurethane tq arm mount on my car i bolted the bushing in place first then lubed the tq arm and slid it into the bushing. Then you have all kinds of fun using the jack to line the rear up with the tq arm bolt holes. Best of luck to you.

You did grind the rivets off and remove the factory bushing right? Not trying to be a smartass lol

Ended up just need a 2nd set of hands. The bushings are so much bigger than the stock ones. Some of my vibration has went away. But still figure there will be some. Anyway to know if its drive shaft vibration vs the mounts?

Mine was noticable until i did the poly motor mounts. If the vibes bother you put a rubber trans mount back in

I took my poly trans mount out and put the rubber mount back in.I do not drive my car much(mostly strip car) but that trans mount was bad. I read you should not use the metal spacer that they tell you to use but I did not try it without it. The stock trans mount works fine.

Poly motor and trans mount in my car, certainly more vibration than stock, but nothing which makes me want to ditch the trans mount. I like it.

I replaced mine with a ES Poly mount, the car felt like it was going to come apart. Found a thread somewhere that said to grind off the two humps so I did and left out the pre-load plate. It's now as quiet and vibration free as stock.
