Default 99 FB base-70K orig miles-necessary to replace springs, when doinng shocks?

Is it necessary to replace the springs when I replace the shocks? 99 firebird base model 70K miles. Easy life before I got it. Have put on TA Fr and Rear sway bars and energy suspension bushings. No desire to change ride height.

Probably going Bilsteins.

Thanks for any input!

not necessary unless theres an issue with them... my car had a bad rear spring so I replaced them, but the shocks will be a great difference in how it rides

not really necessary unless you just want better performance and a slightly lowered ride. Unless they are sagging real bad I would just keep them.

If you plan to lower the car I'd wait on installing the shocks to put them in together
