Brake Bleeding question
Hey guys, I am preparing to install my line lock and Baer GT+ kit which includes front rotors, and I have a question about brake bleeding.
Obviously I will be removing the brake line from the master cylinder to the ABS unit and replacing that with the new lines for the line lock, and the line lock.
I will also be replacing the front calipers and hoses.
I am considering using one of the mityvac brake bleeders for the bleeding process, but I have never used one before. Has anyone ever used one of these on our cars ? Does it work ok ?
My understanding of these is that they apply a vacuum to the bleeder screw, but how the hell do they keep from sucking all the brake fluid out of the system ??? I know they have that little reservoir, but I am thinking that thing is going to fill up very quickly once that bleeder valve is opened ???
Any advice/explanations would be greatly appreciated !
