Looks amazing, I've always had a brake upgrade on my to do list. Mainly because they just look so dang sexy. What's the performance difference from stock?

I don't know yet we have 8+" of snow on the ground. I will post as soon as I have a clear and dry day to test drive it.

Looks great. I thought about those calipers I decided to stick with the V calipers. Those breaks are impressive looking though.

Thanks guys I will get build spect's and picks. Lucky for me my dad donated the wheels and brakes from his Z06 18" oem wheels all four corners. No spacing needed front or rear had to buy a Core 3 brackets an that's all .

I haven't heard of this kit, I wonder if my c4 ZR1 wheels will fit, most of the kits don't fit with my wheels and it they do, they require grinding some of the wheel or something I didn't want to do.

This is the build I did last week on my 98 Z28. Started with removing the 17" front wheel and then removing the 12mm brake line fitting to the caliper.
After removing the line I then removed the 18mm bolts for the caliper bracket and removed the bracket and caliper all at the same time. I then removed the rotor. After the rotor you remove the abs plug and the 4 14mm bolts that bolt the spindle to the housing. Remove the spindle now you can see the lower mounting bracket hole for the old bracket. You will have to cut this off so the new bracket will fit. After you cut this off you can reinstall the spindle and mount the new bracket locktight the 4 bolts and tighten them.Reinstall the abs plug and install the rotor. Now you can in stall the brake caliper and bolt it on the bracket now reconnect the brake line and bleed the caliper. mount the 18" wheel and that's it this bracket from CORE3
make this install very easy no special tools I used a cutoff wheel on my air tool to cut the bracket boss off and every thing was hand tools.

I'm assuming these won't fit under a stock 17 or 17 inch skinny?

No you need 18" to make them work. I think you can use the CTSV 4 piston caliper and your 17".

not all 17" will clear the CTS-V's there have been numerous failures due to offset when following this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...s-17-rims.html But then again there has been much success also
