Default doing some suspension upgrades come warmer weather

Ok so I have a 94 camaro z28 with stock suspension. I will likely use it as a dd for most of this comming summer and I plan to go to the drag track atleast a few times.
I was looking at kyb agx shocks and umi 35mm front 22mm rear swaybars.
I like the idea of adjustable shocks but just between bilstein HD shocks and the kybs is about $100. Do you guys think its worth the extra $$$ for adjustable?
Any imput on other upgrades you recomend would be appreciated as well.
Thanks,
Luke

Bilsteins or Koni STR.t shock is what I'd recommend looking at, they're better shocks than the AGX shocks. Yes, adjustable shock are worth the extra cost IF you end up with better shock valving. That's why I don't recommend the AGX, but do recommend the Koni SA shocks, IF you willing to spend $1100 on shocks. Furthermore, as far as sway bars UMI make a good product but heavy. I'd go with a set of Strano hollow sway-bars.

We always recommend against the KYB's. They are cheap, and for good reason. As stated above, Bilstein or Koni is the way to go. If you are on a budget, the new Str.t's are the way to go. Keep checking this section for an announcement regarding these soon.

Yes I do have a problem spending $1000 on just shocks. Thats just under my planed budget for this whole summer of upgrades. lol. So the Bilstein HD's or the SLP's? Whats the difference between the two? Are just shocks going to improve performance much or will I need springs as well? Im not interested in lowering really either.
Thanks,
Luke

the stock shocks (especially ones that old) should be replaced PERIOD. as for sway bars (and most will likely disagree with me on this) I think the stock bars are plenty, well maybe step up to the factory 32mm front just get new bushings and endlinks for a daily driver, seeing how much it changed my car going from the 28/15 (99 v6 bars, it's a daily driver) to the 32/19 I don't think I would care for the stiffness of larger bars on something used mostly on the street, but they may just be me.

The shock valving is a little better with the Koni STR.T, but IMO the Bilsteins have a better overall build quality then the STR.T's and will most likely last longer. The reason I say that is because even compared to the Koni DA's I've had and my current Koni SA's the visible quality of the Bilsteins still seem a little better. BTW, with better sway-bars and shocks you'll still have a noticeable better handling and riding car, you really don't need to lower it. Lowering is only 1 part of improving handling, and too many make the mistake of thinking that it's the most important part of improving it; it's not.

I see that the koni have a lifetime warranty so im not too worried about them. Do the bilstein's have a lifetime warranty as well?

Which of the bilstein's are better the HD or the SLP?

Yeah, Bilstein also has a lifetime warranty if you're the original purchaser.

HD/SLP they're the same, so buy which ever cost less.
