Replacing inner tie Rod questions???
Is there a how to video on replacing a inner tie rod in a 2002 camaro? Is it easier to install it from underneath the front or the side of car. What about tools...is there a certain wrench??? Also should the inner tie rod move around easily by hand. I removed the outer tie rod and the inner tie rod pretty much just flopped down.

A new tie rod, like a ball joint will be stiff when new and as it wears it gets more play and can't support it's weight and "flops down" as you put it. It is a relatively straight forward process to change one once the outer is removed, you remove the clamp holding the boot to the rack and pull it off the threaded end of the inner tie rod, once the boot is out you need a special inner tie rod removal tool (there are ways to "redneck" around the use of the tool then install is the reverse. It is HIGHLY suggested to replace both inner and outer tie rods on BOTH sides of the car, because after doing so you need to have an alignment done and if one is bad the others aren't far off and you don't wanna pay for 2 alignments.
as for access, most will be done from the wheel well but you will need to get partway under to see what you are doing.
here is a random video on youtube, the process is the same on virtually ALL modern cars.

Yes, It should be noted that the LT1/V6 A-1 Cardone reman. rack (which includes inner tie rods) is just 10-20 dollars more then the cost of the pair of Moog inner tie rods (using the Rockauto.com best prices), the LS1 rack is a bit more but then you don't know the quality of the inner tie rods like you would with buying the Moog parts, that said, that was the route I went personally.
