Default Bushings...rubber vs. poly vs. thermoplastic

Doing some suspension work on my 2002 Camaro SS and want to replace the front and rear sway bar bushings and links. The car only has 42K on it, but thought, might as well replace them while doing lowering springs and shocks. Wondering if some could chime in about what type of bushing to get? At first, I was all about Energy Suspension, then I read the polyurethane bushings squeak...I hate noises! I know they have a greaseable design, but don't want to be doing that every 5 minutes. Do I just stick with rubber, or maybe the 1LE bushings/links, or Moog thermoplastics? Don't know much about any of these. That's where you guys come in. Also, the front bar is 32mm and rear is 19mm correct? Again, stock 2002 SS with the orange shocks (soon to be replaced). Thanks.

Delrin would be my choice.

1LE bushings would probably be ok unless you really wanted to go with poly or something else. If I ever redo mine that's what i'll get.

IMO, go with the poly sway-bar mount bushing with the grease zerks.
Greasing them 3-4 times a year should be plenty!

For swaybar bushing Poly works fine, and shouldn't squeak. There is no movement with the bushing like in control arms that could cause noise and binding.

Make sure you get the right size for the rear bushings if you go with Moog. I replaced my dad's front sway bar bushings and all the endlinks with Moog. They do not have the right size for the rear bushings for his car so it is still on rubber. Although his car is his daily driver.

I have the blue Moog endlinks on the front for a few months and have no issues with them...yet.

OK, kinda what was thinking. I'm guessing poly squeaks elsewhere when they bind up. So, for the front and rear sway bar, I'll go poly. How about the end links? Should I look stock or at something else?

Also, can anybody confirm the sway bar sizes are correct? 2002 SS with the orange shocks, 32mm front and 19mm rear. That is what I have found in my research. Thanks.

I have been researching bushings for a while and I am pretty sure you got that correct because they have the same rear sways as the WS6.

Poly endlinks are fine as well, there is no movement there.

Both fbodies ive owned had squeaky sway bar bushings. One was with strano bars and squeaked after a month or 2 of installing them. He then recommended me to use a certain type of grease and it stopped the noise. And its pretty easy to grease them, but it just becomes another hassle that adds up to the maintenance list.

Just measure it. 32 mm is an inch and a 4th. I had a v6 camaro with a 30mm. factory. wierd. 30mm is 1.18 inches. as far as a bushing being too small,,....just take a hole saw to it or if its poly, have a machine shop use a bridgeport on it. Or buy the proper one.

Hhow did they end up working for you? I'm thinking getting the same ones for my Terrain. My other choice is Mevotechs

Just curious as it's been a few years now since the post
