This guys article making me rethink poly motor mounts and my poly lca's...
I've had a set of hotchkis lca's on my car for a while now and after reading this article i've been thinking about taking them off. Also I have poly motor mounts coming which i may put in but again im rethinking. Here's the link to the webpage.

Should i still do the poly motor mount (drivers side for exhaust bangs)?

Motor mounts, you only want to dampen vibration
transmission to the body. They don't have to flex
so I don't see an issue there.
LCAs, I run w/ stockers, boxed, and the 1LE solid
rubber bushings (took out the perforated stock
ones). Have not observed any bind or harshness
issues from this, nothing on the order of the
Bilstein shocks' harshness contribution. I think
I'd be concerned more with a tubular or box-
style double-poly LCA that forced a lot of flex
onto some metal element. But there are some
differences I believe in the elastomeric properties
out there, elastic means it will deform and come
back, it's all in the formulation (though good luck
in determining just what you've got).
In my opinion if you can jack the car by the LCA
axle bracket, w/ swaybars disconnected, and
lift it (say) 4" before any kind of bind - like the
body following abruptly rather than at 1-spring
rate - you should not see handling problems from
bind in any non-off-road driving.

He's actually right. It is very good tech info on there. Taken to the same logic, "Some people drive hyundai's and like them". So, I guess those people just have lower expectations. That is about the same as your folks who run poly and like them. They are either happy with the compromise or they just don't know any better. Until you drive something better than what you have currently, what you have currently is the best. Right?

Yeah im actually ditching my poly/poly lca's after thinking it over. I ordered a set of the 1LE LCA's for a better "compromise". I didn't want to go with rod ends either because my car is on the street alot. I read that lost LCA post and find it amazing that it was removed. This LCA stuff makes me feel like im a ricer, buying **** that does nothing for my car.
