Default are the rear V6 brakes same as the SS brakes? 98-02 Camaro SS
There is a good deal on a set of rear rotors and pads from a V6 99-02 Camaro, and I want to know if I can use these parts on my 1999 SS 6speed?

the GM parts layout catalog does not indicate a separate/different part number for rotors and caliper assy for V8 vs V6.

98+ fbody brake hardware is identical no matter the engine size.

Yes sir.

93-97 had brake differences between V6 and V8 models.
98-02 have identical brake hardware.

I thought I had remembered reading that back 2 years ago when I first got my car but couldn't find that site to confirm it.
