Default UMI Adjustable Uppers

I had the UMI adjustable upper control arms with new ball joints installed recently. Ever since then the front end is very noisy over bumps (Like a squeaky/popping sound?). I'm just wondering if this is normal because my car never made these sounds before.

Thanks!

Do they have poly bushings or the spherical rod ends? If poly and squeaking, they aren't properly greased. If rod end, they will transfer more harshness and vibration through the car.

As long as the jam-nuts on the rod-ends are tight they should be fairly quiet. The rod-ends don't start getting noisy until the lining wears down and creates play. I'd also check to make sure the 3 bolts on the upper ball joints are tight.

As others have said, tighten jam nuts and assure the ball joint is tightened well. Rod-ends are not known to be quiet; you have to remember we're putting a solid rod-end where there used to be a rubber bushings designed to isolate noise/vibration/harshness. So it's normal to add NVH when using Rod-ends.

Hope this helps!

We do not offer a Roto-Joint for a bushing that small.
