Default discontinued parts (need advice)

I am in the process of putting a 35 anniversary SS back together after the previous owners abused/neglected/trashed it for about 10 years. So I pull it apart and find that the right rear brake caliper is missing, the hose and banjo bolt are wrapped in electrical tape and tucked under the hardline on the rear axle. After further inspection I see that there is no E-brake shoes, wheel cylinders or hardware and the cable is tied to the dust shield with safety wire. NICE anyway I was going to order an overhaul kit for the rear brakes and just replace everything attached to the backing plate but it seems as if everything has been disc. from GM. Do any of you guys have any idea or would anyone be willing to donate/sell any of these parts? Input appreciated. I'll respond as soon as I get back from Ohio. I have a throat punch to offer the previous owner. lol

Plenty of people are parting their cars out on here. Start searching and inquiring and you should find what you need. If you have a pick and pull close by then you can check them out and see if you can harvest everything.

Yeah I have considered those options. Most people I would think wouldn't be interested in selling pieces and parts off the rears in their cars. (I may be wrong just my personal opinion) and our local pick A part are terrible here. You cant pull your own parts anymore, and they crush things so fast you usually cant find anything worthwhile anyway. But I will search around a little in that direction. Thanks

I don't know where in Ohio you are, but Cleveland pick a part has a large selection of f-body parts. Also the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk has a large number of vendors at the show in early August. Have you tried vendors like Classic Industries and Hawks Third Gen?

Most of that hardware is available through the aftermarket now. And the brakes are the same hardware 98-02 regardless of engine, model, options, etc.

I checked Hawks, I haven't looked at the others mentioned. And I am actually in WV. The car I am working on came from Ohio. Thanks for the input.
