well, it's not just about the spring, yes the spring is important but even the best springs will ride like *** if you pair them to a crappy shock, like the factory decarbons.

the best springs are either BMR or Strano but you need to match them to at least the Bilsteins or Koni STR.T's (for those on a budget) or if money is no matter get some of the really nice double adjustable koni's.

also don't forget an adjustable panhard bar to recenter the rearend and likely new mounts for the front shocks.

personally I have the BMR/Bilstein setup on my car which I daily drive and like it fine, in some places it harsher then stock (but your gonna see that with any lowering since they are all stiffer springs then stock), I also had all new bushings installed in the front control arms when i had the fronts installed due to the age and mileage on the car which really helped smooth the ride out.

It really depends on what your budget is. If you are looking for something a little on the cheaper side I would recommend running our BMR lowering springs (SP001) along with either the Koni STR.T or Bilstein shocks. Both of these shocks are non-adjustable and work well with our lowering springs. If you are looking for something a little more performance oriented and have the budget for it you can use our BMR lowerings springs (SP001) along with the Koni yellow shocks which are adjustable and will allow you adjust the shock valving to optimize the performance and handling of your vehicle.

If we can help you out in any way please let us know.

Can't really go wrong with a Koni. They were amazing on my last car paired up with some nice springs.

Getting new front strut mounts definitely isn't a bad idea. Sometimes I do reuse the old ones as long as they are in good condition and don't have a ton of mileage on them. If you do get new strut mounts make sure you go with a good brand like Moog. I have had customers bring me some of the cheaper ones and they were complete crap and issues right out of the box. If you are interested in getting new strut mounts like the Moog the bets place I have found to get them is www.rockauto.com.

My opinion may be a little partial, but there are plenty of members on this board who can vouch for ours as well
