What is required to run stock springs with Hal shocks? Do I need to modify anything, I think I remember reading something had to be modded, but I can't remember what.

You need a modified stock spring seat, the seats that come with the Hals are meant for the hal springs and have to small a diameter for the stock springs. Thunder used to sell modified sets (thats where I got mine from) but I think now BMR sells a piece too.
