Energy Suspension 9.13130 Front Ball Joint Dust Boots on F body

I installed ES poly dust boots on both the upper and lower b/j's of my '96 Z-28. I don't recall the particular part numbers, but I'll say this. The lower boots, which were a generic GM part number, worked well, as is.
The uppers, which were another generic Camaro part number, which I don't remember off hand, were a little "short"...in other words, they tip of the boot didn't compress against the top of the spindle, to hold it in place. In order to account for this, I cut a short piece of rubber tubing, the ID of the tubing is the same OD of the ball joint stud. The piece was about 3/8" in length, and I slipped it over the b/j stud, before engaging the stud in the spindle. It's been in there for about 4 years, and so far so good
