6 Piston CTS V calipers

The rotors are 10+ Camaro rotors. The rotor no matter which brand you use will need to be machined a bit to fit. The center hole on the camaro rotor are a tad smaller diameter.
You can use the Z06 rotors without machining, but then the brake pad wont cover the whole rotor and will wear unevenly.

Awesome job! Can I ask why you didn't go with the 14.6in rotors from the ZL1?
Do the pads hang over much? can you post a pick of the top of the caliper with everything assembled?
I know the 14in 2010 rotors fit perfectly under the 4-piston brembo's. So shouldn't the 6-piston brembo caliper go with the 14.6in rotors that come on the ZL1?
Am I missing something? does the ZL1 have a different spindle?

I looked at the pics again, and it looks like the piston is just outside the rotor, which means the pads will be over as well. I bet the 14.6in fits better.
I think there is a disadvantage to this setup vs the 14in 4-piston.
The 6-piston caliper actually has slightly less piston area=less force when using the same lever arm(14in rotor). Also you are using less pad..... Whereas the 14in 4-piston is using all of the rotor, all of the pad, and the caliper produces more force. I know its hard to believe looking at that massive 6-piston caliper, but the total piston area in the 4-pot is larger.
So in the end I think you'll have less brake force, and less fade resistance.
Somebody tell me if I'm missing something here.

SS Camaro Rotor fits Perfect with the 6 piston calipers, and with a larger rotor you would more than likely have to go 19" wheels. I have ZERO over hang on the rotors with the pads. Match up perfect.

Ha, I knew it, that pad rotor fit is pure automotive ****!
Most places I find list that rotor as 14.55(370mm) or 14.6(same as the ZL1). A few list it as 15in, but I wonder if they're just rounding up?
