Replacing shocks and struts; what else should I replace at the same time?
It's beyond time for new shocks and struts, but I'm unsure what else I should replace while I have everything apart. My Konis are shot, so they are being replaced. Gonna leave the Strano springs in place because I like the current ride height and see no reason to change.
Car currently has ~112k miles, I'm unsure how much, if anything, has been replaced. Bought it at ~80k. Let's assume everything else is original.
What else do I need?

Probably nothing. If you live up north, then possibly the front shock mount and isolator. Knowing that your shocks have already been replaced and you have 112k miles then you might be lucky and won't need them though. Sway bar endlinks are prone to snap, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have them handy or know of a parts store that would have them in stock if you needed them.

I guess the bigger question is, what is your budget? You may as well do all of the front control/A-arm bushings while you have everything apart, another couple hundred in parts. And I would do the front shock mounts and isolators without a doubt, that's another 140 or so there. But it's all good preventative stuff if you already have it apart.

I'm assuming you're getting new isolaters along with your struts. Other than that, sway bar endlinks, ball joints, strut tower brace since it's so cheap. Seeing you already have the koni/strano setup I'd suggest getting strano's sway bars as well, they come with the required bushings seeing that yours are probably shot at 112k. Also now's probably a good time to bleed the brakes since the wheels are off and you have easy access to the bleeder screws.

I thought they have 4 struts, 2 for the front and 2 for the rear? After all, a shock is never going to be able to support that big heavy glass trunk lid But apparently they do support the front of the vehicle that's hauling the engine, tranny, and other accessories...

New Strut mounts and isolators. Just did coil overs and my stock ones were seized and rusty and my car has 12xxx miles on it. Water just sits in the mounts. I had to wait a few days for new ones. I got moog ones for 40 a piece and 6 bucks for the isolators of amazon. Nappa etc. had them for 90 a piece and 16 for the isolators
