Default Anything special to remove rear rotors?

So My first brake job. Front's done, only problem was a stuck caliper bracket bolt. now I'm on the rears and I think the rotor is rusted to the hub I believe. Original brakes on an 02. But I notice the parking brake or some shenanegins inside the pass. rear rotor. Question is this... When the caliper mount is removed, is there anything else I need to do with parking brake to remove rotor? Should it just slide off like the fronts? and yes, the parking brake is off...

Thanks!

Go out and get a can of PB Blaster. Spray heavily. Let sit for 3-5 minutes. BFH the **** out of rotor.

This. I've had to resort to this on more than one occasion.

Before the BFH verify that the parking brake is in fact not engaged. Then tap, rotate, tap rotate. It will loosen up eventually.

^^This. If you're like me and used to always putting the park brake on when working on your car, it's easy to forget.

whack the hell out of it with one of them hard plastic mallets.

That don't work, wrap an old t-shirt on a dead blow and whack it gently with that.

I was told to rent a "gear puller" (I think thats what it was called) from my local auto parts store after spending an hour trying to get my rear rotor off. It literally pulled the rotor off in about 3 seconds. Then just return the tool

I let it soak overnight... I mistook the PB Blaster for PBR and let it sit... came off this morning with just a few taps. Fantastic stuff. Appreciate the help!

I had to beat the @$#= out of the rotors to get them to come off. I didn't have a big enough hammer so I beat on it with a 14" Viper rotor til it broke loose. A tap won't work with some.

When doing brake jobs, rub anti-seize, a thin layer on the hub between the studs where your lug nuts go. This will prevent this from happening again. Hopefully.

Smear some anti seize between the rotor and axle when you put it back on, won't have that issue again.
