Default A arm upgrade worth it?

Is the upgrade beneficial for anything other then weight saving? This is about the only susp. upgrade I have not done and was curious.

honestly I feel it is a minor weight and appearance thing only. the only argument I've heard is that the cost of replacing bushing and ball joints in the arms are so high you might as well do the arms yourself, but that is based on estimated labor cost to pay someone to replace all the parts vs. you swapping things in your driveway, if you have the tools or capability to replace the bushings and ball joints on your own then it is far cheaper to do it yourself and not spend the money on the tubular arms.

I remember reading some posts stating that the stock A arms are better for daily drivers, and it's best to replace the ball joints/bushings than the tubular arms.
