Anyone running a 4" outlet kooks y with MWC torque arm?
Just got my MWC torque arm with the double drop crossmember. Trying to install it with my kooks y pipe which is a 3"-4" outlet. The driveshaft loop bracket is sandwiching the emerge between it and the crossmember. After completely loosening the y pipe from the headers, I was able to get it bolted up. But it's got all of the y pipe in a bind. It's touching every damn thing.
This is suppose to be for a 3.5" and bigger catback but obviously doesn't work with a kooks...
So if anyone has any tips for making this thing work, short of mangling up a brand new torque arm, I'm all ears. Thanks.

I've got the same bracket I think and a custom made 4 inch y pipe and I have literally tons of room. I was actually surprised at how much it had. If I was you I'd modify the y a tad to get it where you want it.

Our Double drop crossmember fits huge exhaust and has been the same crossmember we have used for any customer with Kooks exhaust. Not sure how or why yours is seeing fitment issues. Give the shop a call we can discuss the issue. (309)382-6252

We just did an install of a short arm. double drop crossmember, and Kooks duals here in house. There is no doubt it's a pain to work around it but it can be done. We've actually installed a few of them and sold crossmembers to other customers with Kooks. PM me your number and I'll give you a call.
