Default Your brake setup

Just wondering what yall's favorite rotor and pad combo is. Do they squeal, fade, or warp at all? What brake fluid do you use? If you've had any bad experiences with a product post those too! Trying to find the best rotors to put on my cts-v swap f body.

Wilwood 6 piston fronts, slotted only rotors, fit in stock WS6 wheels, with Corvette X-Tracker front bearings for no pad knock back. Carbotech XP12s and stock rear with clip eliminators again for no pad knock back with XP10s and BAER Eradi Speed rotors, drilled and slotted. Wilwood 600Plus fluid. No fade after 22 minutes with 168 mph peak speeds on one straight. Front rotors were blue though.

You might as well as what the "best" oil is, while you are at it.

There is no one-size-fits all brake solution. There are always trade offs.

What do you do with the car? How do you drive it? Where do you drive it?

Thanks wssix99 I added it. I live in Dallas, Texas. I daily the car but I also street race it. 130+ back down to speed limits are normal. I just want a rotor that won't warp and won't break the bank. Thinking of going stock acdelco rotors for a 5th gen as.

The 2 brothers left Carbotech and started their own brake pad company. You should give them a lookie

I see no reason why factory pads and rotors won't be sufficient for what you are doing. Repeated stops on a track will justify an upgrade.
