Default Need help picking the right spindles and brakes

For my 2000 Z28 I'm building is a radical street strip car that sees 1500 to 2000 street/hwy miles a year.

I have bought bmr tubular control arms and I'm going with their tubular k member and manual steering... and viking coilovers.

Now I need to buy brakes and spindles. I'm pretty set on a strange setup, but having trouble about spindle choice. I want the lightest possible, but I need it to hold up to the street driving. Thanks guys!

Me personally, id stay with the stock spindle for a street driven car. Id also keep the stock hubs. If you switch the an aluminun hub you cannot run a stock style wheel ever again, which is silly for a street car. Youll give up some weight but it won't be much. See here;

That's does make sense. I do not want to go so far out there. I'd like to run Weld draglites up front, so that kinda rules out going away from a factory style hub.

The strange brakes like what I run are a good medium ground for being lightweight and versatile.

I have the racecraft spindles and strange brakes. Super nice all around spindle. My car is light up front so now worries about trashing them. You run 3rd gen strange brakes with them so it saves you a few hundred dollars off the brakes. Just like 01SS said... If you have any desire to run stock or anything but a drag wheel up front your gonna be out of luck.

Strange brakes and a caliper mount bracket design to keep the stock hub. Bought it from midwest chassis.
