Calling BMR or anybody else who has this
I got the adjustable TQ arm and TQ arm relocation tranny crossmember awhile back and am just now finding the time to install it. Its not fitting
The riser for the TQ arm is hitting the fuel lines in the tranny tunnel preventing me from using the slots in the crossmember on the pass side to move it more to the drivers side so the bolts on the drivers side can line up ...those holes are about 1/4 off I am guessing....if the riser was about 1/2 inch to the pass side it could possibly have the adjust ability to fit the bolts on the drivers side
Anyone else have this combo installed and did or did not have this problem ?

Can't speak on BMR's products as I really don't know what you mean. But with the other aftermarket torque arms I've installed, I've had to undo the brake/ fuel lines and flip the bracket upside down to move them upwards out of the way. Best of luck sorting your problem out.

Did this come with any instructions?
The clamshell should go on the opposite side you have it on now, so its on the transmission side of the crossmember. Try that and see how everything goes and report back.

its not about the clamshell...even tho I have no clue on which side it goes....and the instructions are very very very sparse...did I say very ? ....its about the holes not lining up and the riser hitting the lines and close to hitting the tranny tunnel
I have emailed BMR but it must still be holiday time off for them

again.....its not about the clamshell....its about the bolt holes not lining up on drivers side and not having enough adjust ability in the pass side bolts because the riser hits the fuel lines and close to the tranny tunnel
if anybody has this combo please post pics

I got your PM. I'll take a look at mine tonight. It bolted up no problem, but I know the TQ arm mounting location is very very tight in the tunnel. I've had mine for 10 years now so things might have changed a little from then. I would be careful how you have the car lifted as it is possible (not likely) to tweak the car enough to not let the holes line up correctly.

^^^ compared to mine.....mine is way off !
your bolt holes on the pass side are in the middle of the bolts and you drivers side holes are spot on, the riser has plenty of space between the fuel lines
my first fitting I thought just the rear bolt hole on the drivers side would have to be wallowed out....but a better test fitting showed both holes were way off
and to answer the question if I install the drivers side bolts first....it would not move far enough to line up the holes due to the fuel line interference

Those cars can get twisted pretty easy, it's likely that crossmember is correct and you have something going on with your car.
If you plan on wallowing the holes out to make it fit just do it to the slotted side however much you need to make it fit. It doesn't appear that you need much.
Sometimes you have to do a little "hotrodding" to these cars for fitment.

Maybe somebody can take a measurement of the holes on their car that it fits, so you can compare your car to see if it's your cars holes moved, or the crossmember holes are not right. Or if someone can measure from driver side holes to side of the torque arm riser that will tell you more info as well.

What year is your car and what part number crossmember do you have? I have seen this before when trying to put a 98-02 crossmember in a 93-97 car or vise-versa. can you confirm this for me? Also you can e-mail me directly: eric@bmrsuspension.com and I will get you all squared away on this

Here's mine. Plenty of space. But as you can see. My clamshell rubs the trans. This is my second BMR one. They sent me a replacement and it fit the same way. And it looks different than both of the other ones posted here. But I've got a lot of clearance on the tunnel side...
One thing on getting it to line up. You have to push the trans way up into the tunnel. I used a trans jack. Then you can line it up.
