Default STB w/ SFC's Needed?

Hey guys, I'm getting a set of SFC's from UMI next week, and was wondering how necessary will STB's be? Can I save my $100 bucks for a rainy day, or should I just go it now, and save myself the hastle? Any and all imputs would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Might as well do it all at once. If you're gonna do it sometime, now'd be the perfect time. SFC's and an STB on at the same time... you'll feel an incredible difference. Hell, I hear from many that even just the STB alone makes quite a significant difference, in performance and personal feel.

I found the STB tightened up the front of my
convertible noticeably. I don't have SFCs.

I did it.

Any time the factory engineers want to make a car remotely performance oriented, they install one. There's even one on the Cadillac SRX, which is a new platform that is very stiff already (and shares a similar front suspension design with our cars). So they must be of some benefit.

And, it's dirt cheap as performance parts go.

That said, I couldn't feel a difference. But I don't have a well calibrated butt-o-meter. I couldn't feel much of a difference from the SFC's either.

LMAO Now that's the most honest answer I think I've ever received.... On any subject. LOL Thanks. Thanks all BTW, I'm just going to do it. What's another $89 bucks I guess. LOL That's the thinking that gets me into trouble.

I was thinking the same question to myself today. I got a bit of money the other day, so I was thinking about SFCs. Then I thought "What about a STB too?" You may as well do them both at one time. It would make a massive seat of the pants feel in terms of stiffness.

Going from no sfc's and no stb to having them both, there should be a huge difference in feel.
