Not really, just a set of springs will do, as the K-member doesn't really have any bearing on the car's height. Are you thinking about needing additional ground clearance, if you lower the car?

No I wasn't really worried about ground clearance as i've read a couple people going as low as 2 inches and having an ok amount of ground clearance. I was just reading about suspension setups and read that a bmr k member helps with a more aggressive alignment so I was just making sure it was not needed. Thanks for your reply.

I'd worry about the bushings in the a arms before worrying about the k member

No, and aftermarket k member is not required to lower the car. The increased alignment adjustment is for those who are running very aggressive handling setups or are lowering more than 1.5". I also have drag racers who use this to narrow their track width with an adjustable upper arm. But, if you are just looking to lower your street car, stock k and arms are fine. I would just recommend loosening and re-torquing the lower control arm bolts to let the bushings center on the new ride height

How aggressive are you trying to get with your alignment? I will say UMI's boxed roto-joint lower arms are a sweet piece and they'd give most people more than enough wiggle room for camber and castor.

I am not looking to go to aggressive at all. 1.5 inches is good enough for me. Thanks for the info on the lower control arms bolts BMR.
