I think this is a great part and really makes sense but whats amazing to me and very curious is that NO ONE in the aftermarket industry realized or thought to address the wall flex and relative master cylinder movement in the 25+ years these cars have been out and getting pounded on on the tracks.
This will be my 20th year tracking the T/A and I NEVER thought of this situation lol.
Sam, kudos to you for developing this and bringing it to market!

Here it is on an old non-STB equipped, traction-control-still-intact LT1 car. It didn't line up perfectly with the MC on mine but the bearing on the end of brace rod still allowed it to sit flush.

Makes me wonder what happens when the clutch is pressed. I guess I'll added to the order when they call me with the front sway bars back in stock.

Update. I have plenty of red, no black. In fact 5 black are backordered. More are on order but it will be probably two weeks until they are ready to go. Can ship red ones anytime.

Would these make a bigger difference on stock brakes? I see a lot of reviews are with aftermarket calipers and SS lines and so forth. Im curious to see how people like them with stockish brakes.
Either way its almost time to replace my brake pads, so ill probably order one of these when I replace them.

I have stock brakes, I will report back when I get the part. Curious to see how it works with stockers before I upgrade.

Looks like a worthy mod. Can't believe it hasn't been on the market yet for these cars. I will have to add this to my Sam Strano collection I already have on my car. Good Stuff.

Still lots of red... too many in fact. A few more black ones arrived today but I think only one or two are not already spoken for.

Just installed this brace. Excellent fit and finish. Definitely improved pedal feel for both the brake and clutch. Very glad I made the purchase. This brace will require some modification to fit the SLP STB. The brace must be ground on the mounting foot closest to the engine to clear the bar on the SLP STB.

I installed the brake master cylinder brace on my car finally over the weekend. I had a long list of stuff I was doing at the same time though. The brace was took maybe 15 mins to install.

I didn't new rotors, pads, stainless brake lines, and flushed the systems as well.

One thing I noticed while making sure my ABS was working well. When I really put on the brakes now I can feel a really firm almost stopping point to my brake pedal.

Hard to describe. Almost as if I can feel the brace supporting the brake master cylinder.

On a side note my clutch feels a little firmer now too. with almost the same effect as the brakes.

Overall I really like it.

^Nice job matt1289,
Looks to be from feedback, the brace is a knockout 2 birds with one stone product. I can see Sam ramping up production on these, win win for everyone.

Well I just got mine today and installed it. It took about 20 minutes. I had to slightly grind away the small hole on the shock tower so that little tab could fit. It was slightly off. A little dremel work took care of it.

The brakes feel much better along with the clutch pedal. It actually feels like your pressing against a wall and not a flimsy piece of metal. My master cylinder had maybe an 1/8th to 1/4 movement which is completely gone now.

Over all, a good mod for what it is. thanks Sam for another good product added to my car.

If you got an order request last night for someone under "Peewee Herman," that was me. I'm interested in purchasing a red one in a few weeks and was interested in the total price shipped - I thought I could figure out the total on-the-spot.
