Spring and shock question....
I am going to install BMR springs all around and QA1 HAL 12 ways up front. My question is, how do I know where to set my spring level at? The entire shock is threaded. How far up or down does the bottom of the spring need to be? Pics would help if anyone has them too.

I would start with the lower spring perch set about 1/4 to 1/3 down from the top of the threads. I started at about half way and I couldn't get the jack out.
Also make sure you use anti-seize on the threads, it will make things a lot easier to adjust. Plan on adjusting them a few times before you get the right stance you want.

BMR springs up front. They are not similar. I had to buy a cup for the BMR springs because their diameter was larger than the QA1's.

Are the BMR's lowering springs? I'm not sure, but the way I did it using QA1's with stock springs, was take the stock shock and measure from the bottom mount up to where the spring perch is, and set the spring perch on the QA1's at the same height from its bottom mount. The car's stance looks good enough to me having done that (i didn't bother to measure the chasis height at all 4 corners). But thats on stock ride height.

They are lowering springs. That is a good idea. The distance from the bottom of the shock to the bottom of the spring shouldn't change.
