Default anybody look into this? opinions for rear brake upgrade

so this site is for a 3rd gen fbody but the 3rd gen fbody uses the same 10 bolt axle and this site has adapter kit to use c7 brakes for the rear while retaining parking brake functionality. I came across a bracket a while back to use 6th gen Camaro brakes but does not retain the parking brake. thoughts on this?

Solid axle rears need "floating" type calipers that deal with axle tolerances. Some have figured out a way to mount brembos on the 7.5 10 bolt rear, but its really for looks. If you are gearing up for a functional 4 piston front and rear setup you would need to figure out how to convert a fixed brembo rear to floating, find the correct rotor with attached ls1 size drum for parking brake functionality, and most importantly a made to match dual master setup.

Im assuming you have abs?

You don't need to upgrade the rear brakes. It usually makes the car worse and dangerous. Upgrade the fronts and put quality OEM style parts on the rear.

The factory brake bias is too much in the rear. Don't bother upgrading the rear brakes.
