Default Alignment question

I'm going to be bringing my car in for alignment if I can find a place around here that can do 18's (don't ask me why it's so hard). I'm going with +4 caster, -.7 camber, and probably 1/32" toe in. Here's my question:

I have 18's and I'm getting my car aligned. But I'm switching to 17's in the front real soon. Will I have to get it re-aligned after I put the 17's on???

Changing wheels shouldn't mess up your alignment.

Not tryin' to hijack this thread, but my car pulls to the left and what would be the easiest way to find out if hte car is dog-trackin' or not? Looking at the car from the back, it looks like my rear end is shifted to the left (driver side) by about a half inch, so the driver side rear wheel is farther out of the wheel well than the passenger side. Anyone? It's driving me crazy. I honestly can't tell if it's dog-tracking, but it does pull to the left rather briskly on flat road and no one notices the rear end until I point it out, so it doesn't look bad, but it's noticable when REALLY looking at it.

If the 17's are a different overall height, then you will change the castor setting. If they are the same diameter, you will likley be just fine.

Changing the body angle relative to road is what
changes caster (whether from wheel/tire, or from
lowering springs, or what-have-you).

Large difference in wheel diameter may also mess
with your ABS....

Well I'll be going from 18x9.5" Z06's with 275/35 tires to 17x9.5" Z06's with 275/40 tires. They are pretty close in diameter right??

tirerack.com, click on specifications. They can even vary from one brand to another.
