Default BMR Weld In Directions:

Hey guys, I've got a set of tubular BMR SFC's down at the mechanic's right now, and he called me and asked me how to put them on?? I had thought that it would be a simple thing for a mech to figure out, but I guess not. I've spent some time searching for pictures to show him, but the only one's I came up w/ were pretty weak. How can I discribe to him what needs to be welded where? I don't know myself. Some car guy I turned out to be eh? Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If the tubular ones are like the boxed ones its just one bolt and some welding

No bolts, they're the weld in version.

If you go to BMR's website it looks like the tubular SFC's rear plate mounts against the outside edge of the LCA's chassis mount http://www.bmrfabrication.com/sfc/tubular-inst.jpg
Then the front end will just tuck up and weld to the front subframe. Hey; here's an idea - maybe you should find a more experienced mechanic (I'd be worried if I were you...)
