Default what shocks and struts should I get?

My 99 TA has almost 75k miles on it, so I am thinking that I should replace the shocks and struts and was wondering what everyone reccomended. All I do is sreet driving, barely any street racing. I want to have a nic, smooth ride and nice handling without breaking the bank. Please let me know. Thanks.

For your requirements SLP-valved bilsteins should ride well, and give a noticeable improvement in handling. However with the other better options available it would be hard to find some to recommend these.

Bilstein HD's can be had for around $320 and they would be perfect for what you need. Contact Sam Strano @ www.stranoparts.com

Yep, call Sam. He can set you up with a Bilstien or a Koni Bilstien package that will improve ride quality and handling.

Just a tech point...our cars have four shock absorbers, the fronts are not struts!

Well, sort of. It's a shock, but it shares design elements with a strut, in the way the spring sits around the shock and perches on it.
