Default bad vibrating after lowering the TA

i just lowered my car with the GC coil over kit. I still need to adjust the front cause its sitting at 24" and the rear is sitting at 26" im going to set the front at 26 as well. Now ive noticed when im in 6th gear and going 60 the car vibrates pretty bad wheni go faster it ends up going away. It doesnt do this when im in 4th going 40 or 50. Do you guys think id need to adjust the pinion angle? i was thinking i would need to rebalance the driveshaft but how often does a driveshaft unbalance itself?

If it does it at 60mph, regardless of which gear you're in, then it may be the driveshaft. If it only happens in 6th, then something in the trans is vibrating.

My car is at 26/26, and there is only about 1.25 inches travel left. You must be right on the bump stops at 24"!

have you check your pinion angle, the angle from tranny to drive shaft plus the angle from rear end to drive shaft will be 0 degree. (one # will be positive and other will be negative)

Adjust you suspension to where you want, then see if it goes away. It sounds like the u-joints are causing it. They might be at 0 degrees, which is bad for u=joints. Adjusting pinion angle might be the fix. Adjustable torque arm?

its only 24 in the front i still have to adjust it to 26.

Im going to check the pinion but i dont have a pinion angle finder. I have the BMR adjustable tq arm

01red ws6- the kit isnt all that bad but i dont like how rough it is, i just took off the pro kit and it was kinda mushy but even though this is a 500/150 setup its a little responsive on bumps. It handles great on the turns though. Theres a Turn in SA that almost eveyone wrecks on and theres nothing but scrapes on the wall. The speed limit is 30 but i took it at 60 one night and i didnt have any dragging of the tires i actually stayed on the inner lane so it does turn a lot better than the prokit and better than the H&R springs

Does it bounce around alot? I have a friend with a civic and when he put his coil overs on it bounced like crazy. Is it too ruff, does it get annoying? I drive my car everyday so I dont want it to be uncomfortable

it does bounce but thats just the way some roads are. On the highway it rides fine. Its ruffer than the prokit but it handles a lot better. It gets annoying at first but you get used to it

We had a member on frrax.com who had his car too low with that kit and picked up a nasty vibration problem He rebalanced and swapped driveshafts with no luck. He raised the car and it went away. 24" is very low. I suspect you need to be 1-1.5" higher.

Where did you get the GC coil over kit from and how much was it? I'd like to have 500/150's on my car.

cool I went to sam's site and asked him about different kits. I think I may go with a softer springrate to help out some
