I am replacing the entire rack and pinion from a 01 WS6 car. Does anyone have specs to the differences in the LS1 family in regards to steering ratio's, rack strength and cross utilization between the years. Basically I want to order a rebuilt unit from a part store and would like to put the best stock unit back into it. I want the best overall in handling.

I do not know if they are different ratios, but the LT1 and LS1 cars have different steer linkages you would need that too.
