Default Eibach reviews...

I can get a really good deal on a set of damn near brand new set of Eibach Sportlines and I wanted to know others opinions on it. I have always used H&R progressive in the past but the deal is too good to pass up. I will be adding Z06 rims in the future 18x10.5 (11) out back and 18x10 up front. Will there be any issues? Thanks for the help.

My neighbor runs the sportlines on his 98 T\A an he hates them.
He has LT'S on his car an they hit everything.
But they look real good.
I think without the LT'S you wiil be ok.

LTs are definately going to be put in, so now I am unsure I like the DMS but .75 isn't enough of a drop for me I would like 1" or so at least. Ground Control coil overs? But those are made with Eibach as well...

You should try the Eibach pro-kit, should drop you an 1" to an 1 1/2.
I know you said you gonna get a smoking deal on the sportlines, but i really think twice about them with the LT'S.

I had sportlines on my Z28. The look was killer. Both rear tires rubbed 275/40/17 all the way around. But the passenger side rear tire rubbed really bad on bumps (even with just me in the car) You can forget about going over any obstacles ie speed bumps, roadkill, steep driveways without scraping with headers. Just a little info from someone that's been there. I would probably go with the Pro Kit.

If you want your car to be slammed go with the sportline kit. I know a guy that has got them on his car it looks good but damn it's low. Also he has got 18/9.5 Z06's with 275/35s and he has no rubbing issues after he bought an adjustable panhard rod.

skewba98z28 - Refering to me by any chance?

But yea I'm running the Eibach sportlines with 18x9.5 and 18x10.5's. Also running the pacesetter LT headers. I pretty much have no problems with this setup, and I do drive the car threw some rough city streets. I'll only rub if I take a incline faster then I should, and when I do rub I only hit the air damn up front. I did tap the headers once though and put a small dent, but nothing bad. Other than that you just have to take anything with in incline/bump into consideration and adjust your driving to make it with no problems. You can visit my website (in sig) to see some photo's.

I was intending on getting some sort of chin spoiler and rocker panel kit as well for added lower weight for auto-x. Is the ride stiff and jumpy the way Eibachs used to be for the LT1? Thanks for all the input guys.

Stiffer then stock, exspecially in turns. Good shocks should help rid the jumpy feel. I'm running the stock stocks still and seems to still ride alright.
