Default To those with a poly torque arm mount...

I was going to throw one of these in my car last night because I thought my stock mount was shot. Well, it seems fine, but I have really bad axle hop.

So does that mount make much difference?

I'm getting LCA's in a week or so, but i'm holding out for a torque arm until I get long tubes (going with the spohn).

If your car is lowered then you need lower control arm relocation brackets! If the isn't it then check your pinion angle!

I've got the Prothane poly tranny mount and I can't honestly tell the difference with the stock torque arm. Are you getting axle hop on acceleration or braking?

Get the LCA's on and see if its still there. The poly mount just helps plant the TA and reduces the amount of flex, but it doesnt eliminate it. LCA's and a Non-trans mounted TA. I did trash my trans mounted bushing for the TA, and replaced it with a poly one, and a new housing (housing is what I destroyed). I didnt notice any difference in the 60' time from the bushing alone, but I havent trashed the poly one either.

Good luck.

Wow, this is old.

I put on lca's and brackets and they made a nice difference. I just forgot about the tqarm mount since my stock one is actually fine.
