Default Best Torque Arm For Auto

Who makes the best torque arm for an A4? I am planning on switching to a TH400 later on this year. Is there a best brand? What are the differences?

Is the car lowered or do you plan on ever lowering it? That would be a good first question. There is different arms out there, some are adjustable to allow you set pinion angle and some are fixed. Prices will also vary depending on whether you want to adjust it or not.

If you plan to go with a TH-400 in the future, get one that is doesn't mounted to the tranny.

FWIW, if you looking for drag strip performance, the stock one took me into the 10's.

Why do I not want it to bolt up to the tranny. I also am going to buy the gear vendors over drive. I know that extends it a little, does this matter?

The TH-400 doesn't have the provisions for mounting the TA to the tranny.

a couple places make brackets to mount the torque arm to the th400, i am gonna put a random tech adjustable on my car (due to space worries) i have an xpipe dual setup for exhaust and can't use a crossmember mounted torque arm. the random tech unit is pretty nice though. and as wilwaxu said the stocker is pretty tough.
