Default brake probs

i need to change my back brake pads and the two screws on the calipers wont come off, i dont know what im doing wrong, my dad doesnt understand y and my friend who works on brakes at Dobbs... the two screws loosen up half way and then wont move in or out. anyone ran into this problem or am i on my own, i need feed back asap/.

You have a wrench on the guide pins and a wrench on the bolt as well, right?

guide pins.... no... i took the fronts off just by undoing the bolts without holding anything....where r the guide pins

The caliper bolts thread into the guide pins. The guide pins are flat sided at the end where the bolts enter so that you can use an open-ended wrench to hold them still while you remove the caliper bolts. I dont remember the size though.

I believe it's a 16mm. Probably didn't need to know that anymore How did it work out?
