Default Why am I hearing squeeks coming from my rear suspension?

I have a 2002 Z28 with a bone-stock suspension and 44,000 miles. Lately, I've noticed squeeks coming from my rear suspension when I slowly accelerate from 0-30 mph. What could those squeeks be and how do I eliminate them? Thanks in advance for the info.

Sway bar bushings, sway bar end links and
Panhard mount bushings have been my main
squeakers so far.

I just got done soaking the suspension with a can of WD-40, but it really didn't do anything. I think it's time to finally start modding the car.

I'll take that back. After taking out my rear-driver's side wheel and spraying the bearing, brake rotor, panhard rod bushing, and control arm bushings with WD-40, the squeeks disappeared.

Don't use WD40, temp fix - it's not really a lubricant. Use a spray silicone or lithium lube for suspension stuff.

NAPA sells a graphite spray lube ( not cheap, $9 or so ) for rod ends if you ever go that route.

The squeeks were actually coming from the rear brake pads. I think they were the Quiet Stop brake pads from Pep Boys. I replaced them with an OEM rear brake kit from a GM dealership and that solved the problem.
