Default Hal's or Strange's drag shocks with BMR springs?????????

I have hypercoils with Bilstein/Koni's now but I am starting to get more into drag racing so I want a more drag friendly setup. I've researched and I've noticed that people are having problems with Hals front springs and shock, being that they are too bouncy for the street and they bottom out on the street. The car is not a daily driver but I do cruise a lot on the weekends so I need something that is also street friendly. I don't want to dump a lot of money into Affco's, so I'm leaning to either Hal's or the Strange peices. I was thinking on running the BMR's, just to keep the car a little lower but I want them to work on the strip also. Anyone running this setup? Will I get the full benefit with the Hal/Strange shocks with the BMR springs? I do understand that I need the modified perches with the Hals in order to run springs other then the Hal's. Thanks in advance for the help.
