what are all the advantages of a tubular k member?

Default what are all the advantages of a tubular k member?

first is obviously weight savings , but how much for the k member and also what are the advantages for tubular a arms?

and this is for an 01 Z street strip application

Just weight. Ditch the big stamping and the cast iron
mounts. Over 50lb all told. It is not going to be as
tough as the stock piece and the car will feel a lot
looser / floppier especially if you are on bad pavement
and turning, is my experience. Good for going straight,
faster than before, though. But if you like to take your
car over curbs or have to deal with a lot of potholes I
would think twice before changing out the basically
unbreakable stock piece.
