what to use to cut spring?

Default what to use to cut spring?

gonna cut off about a half a coil on my bmrs maybe a quarter coil. what should i use to cut it? ive got a sawzal will that work? what kinda blade?

Cut off wheel the most used tool in my box and wear safty glasses! You never know!

cut off wheel, what kind? for a dremil? or drill press? how big?

grandfather has one for a skills saw, circular saw....how about that?

the 90* air kind, hand held! with the 3" stone disc. you my be able to use a SAWS ALL but the blade was to big for me! A plasma torch works but can weakin the spring

i can get a short sawzal blade, the circular saw wouldnt work? i was gonna put it in the vice and go REALLY slow with it. would that be a problem?

Your skill saw is the best from what you've mentionned.As long as you use the proper disc.The ideal tool is a 4"to 5" grinder with a cutoff wheel of 1/16"
thick.Be carefull and wear safety glasses.
