Is there a wrong way to install a STB??
The reason I ask is, now my front left tire is rubbing in the front on a right turn. It rubs up against the wheelwell plastic. I have stock wheels and tires, and I never noticed this before. Could the STB have anything to with it rubbing? I installed it on relatively flat ground, and I don't have any weird pulling or shuddering or anything. Just, now the tire rubs. The wheelwell is secure and I havent hit any potholes to knock it out of alignment. I am going to move the wheelwell plastic so it won't rub, but did I install the STB wrong?
Im completely confused. why is it rubbing?

If you put a Hotchkiss in backward, you'd have a
snack tray.
Otherwise they are all just dumb bars that keep
the towers from wiggling somewhat.
I would look to suspension damage or gross
alignment problems. Or just missing fasteners
for the inner wheel well plastic.

Ok cool . No gross alignment, no suspension damage. Liner must have wiggled or something. I moved it in some, so Ill see if that helps. Just wasn't sure if the STB could have done it. Thanks

Hey Jimmy I like my snack Tray! Actually, in an accident last November it saved my car from being totaled. I had an F150 try to go through me and it kept the shock tower from going into the engine. I will be putting my ST 35mm & 25mm swaybars on this weekend, and I know those will make a noticable difference.

Whatever, gives your tread shoulders a clean each time you make a u-turn! Funny thing is, now I have no rub with 17x9.5 Z06s up from with 275/35/17s. I guess the same tire size on a half inch wider rim was enough to keep the tire from rubbing?!?!

I second that. The STB did a Great improvment on my car, STB highly recommended.
