Default odd grinding noise turning the wheel right after start up...

Hey guys, I have a 2000 A4 Z28 and at start up when im backing out of my driveway to turn on my street I usually get a weird grind coming from the front wheel wells. It sounds like something is hitting or rubbing, but when my friends or I try to listen for it outside the car cant see where it is coming from. Anyone have this problem or any solutions?? The cars suspension is stock so far...waiting for BMR sfc's...Thanks for the help

had a similar sounding problem in my grand am when my front tires starting balding, somehow the balding tire rubs against the rim, almost sounded like metal rubbing together, i thought it was my brakes at first but the dealership said it was my tires, got new tires put in and the sound stopped
