so i am lowering my ride and I need to know which products you guys prefer when it comes to panard rod and lower control arms...My main question though is should I get an adjustable panard rod or not

What whould you guys go for when it comes to these two parts?

UMI sells it in a nice package. I prefer rod ends, theyre not as noisy as everyone plays em out to be. I have them on a daily driver and they dont bother me at all. Also LG sells nice stuff too, cant go wrong with either.

I have spohn lca's and a spohn adj. phr, and I am very happy with em.

The prices for spohn products are really good too, and the quality is great.

I have UMI adj. panhard how and plan to get the UMI LCA's later. IMO, you dont need adj. LCA's, but the adj. panhard is needed if you lower your car

I favor Trackbird's PHB and LCAs. Adjustable LCAs DO help in eliminating suspension bind.

I'd vote for Trackbird's adjustable PHB also, but skip the rod ended LCA's if it's your daily driver. I had the rod ended LCA's and the constant clunking and rattling got old quick so I put the stock LCA's back on. It also added a shapness to evey bump in the road which made the daily commute a lot less fun.
The rod ended adjustable PHB is great though.

A local friend of mine makes some that are comparable to Trackbird's stuff. Very nice. The is a thread in here that he posted in.

I have BMR. Extremely happy with all parts. UMI, LG, and SPOHN are comparable in price and quality.
...........and another thing, the next crack head that says BMR= Kmart needs to get lobotomized!

Another vote for Trackbirds parts. They are lighter than most and have better rod ends. I can supply you with spacers if he doesn't have any.

I don't think any rod end, no matter the quality will ever compare to a rubber mount for daily driving. I couldn't tell any handling difference with the rod ended LCA compared to the stock units other than the increased NVH.

I have BMR stuff, it's worked great so far. But I have that clunking noise from my rod ended panhard rod, and it's starting to get on my nerves.

just make sure the panhard bar is adjustable otherwise its kind of defeating the purpose of putting one in.

There's no doubt about that, but even Trackbird's stuff uses QA1 rod ends, arguably the best, and they still transmit a lot more noise and vibration than a rubber bushing. All of my rod ends on the LCA's which I took off and on the PHR I still have on are QA1 rod ends.
I think the thing most people don't expect is the fact that a rod end ridgedly fixes the LCA to the chassis, there's no dampening or "shock" absorbtion between the road and the car. The stock rubber, or harder 1LE bushings, soak up a lot of vibration and noise.

Great info on the rod ends there. I didn't know they made a 3-piece rod end.
