Default STB issues.

Well, i've had my BMR STB on for about 3 years now and recently welded my BMR SFC's in and over the weekend I pulled the trans for a converter install and had to remove the STB to get the trans dip stick out. I guess the car wasn't a 100% level when I welded the SFC's in because the STB is off by a good 3/8" when I went to put it back on So i'm wondering if I should drill some material out on both sides to make it fit or maybe try to jack one side on the front of the car to see I it will tweek the body enough so I can put the STB back on. Any thoughts??

An easy 3/8" and now the hood latch gets caught under the front bumper, so it's a bitch to open the hood I'm suprised I was able to even get the STB off, but it did take a little muscle to get it off now that I think about it.

Try jacking the car from one side to line up the holes on the STB

Well, FYI it worked! I jacked up the passenger side untill I could get it on. Funny thing is, now that it's on there is some side to side slop on the mounting holes, I figured once I got it on and back on the ground it would tighten right up.

Yeah, it was a relief!! It had been on there so long I didn't even notice it anymore, but once it was off there I could really notice the diffrence when I hit pot holes.
